Reparei que o blog está sem referências no quesito musical. Então resolvi escrever sobre música pra macho. Tenho certeza que isso irá criar controvérsias, mas vou citar minhas influências apenas.
Vou começar falando de uma banda chamada Nashville Pussy. O nome já diz tudo: “Xoxotinhas de Nashville”. Olha o que a wikipedia fala sobre os caras no primeiro parágrafo:
Nashville Pussy é uma banda estadunidense de rock´n´roll nomeada ao Grammy. A banda surgiu em Atlanta, na Georgia. Muitos de seus sons falam sobre sexo, drogas, bebedeiras, brigas e também sobre rock´n´roll. Suas músicas não são o que é tradicionalmente considerada “amigas da rádio”, devido ao uso frequente de terminologia vulgar por parte dos integrantes.
Depois dessa apresentação, se você vier com papo de que não é música de macho, eu ainda posso te mostrar fotos da guitarrista e da baixista:
Ruyter Suys, Sandra Bullock, Karen Cuda. A do meio é a Sandra Bullock, porra!
Se você ainda acha que não é som de macho, escute a música. Se não mudar de opinião, ok. É direito seu ser teimoso e burro!
O nome da banda vem da introdução de Ted Nugent (outro cara foda!) à música “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” no álbum Double Live Gonzo. O estado onde a banda surgiu, Georgia, é um reduto de caipiras (os famosos red necks) beberrões e briguentos.
Eles têm, até o momento, 4 álbuns lançados: Let Them Eat Pussy, High as Hell, Say Something Nasty e Get Some! e estão prometendo outro pra começo de 2009, chamado From Hell to Texas.
As letras, em sua maioria, falam de xoxotas, cerveja, treta, ficar doido, briga, mulher e cachaça (redundâncias propositais). Em uma delas, ele diz que encontrou a mina dele dando pra dois caras. Pegou o trabuco dele, ascendeu um cigarro e desceu bala. Se você gosta de clássicos, eles têm uma versão de Highway to Hell do AC/DC muito foda também!
